    One of the interesting results of my research into ways to earn extra money from home is the realization that not everybody wants to ‘quit their day job’.

    Some do for sure, but many, many people just want a method to earn just a little bit of extra money part time – maybe a little extra cash earned at home in the evening around their regular commitments, or when the kids have gone to bed.

    You may not want to start a work at home career -you may just want a way to earn extra money to pay off the latest bill or afford a nice holiday. And that is a different situation from maybe 12 months ago when the majority of people were going online seeking to ‘quit their day job’.

    Now, just as many people just want to earn extra money because they have lost their job, or need to earn extra money simply to make ends meet.

    But help is at hand in the shape of the internet. What the Internet has done is open up a whole new world of earning opportunities, including ways to earn extra money I bet you haven’t even thought of.

    Here is my list of 20 ways you can earn extra money part time regardless of how much time you have to devote along with a link to more information where I have posted a specific article.

    And if you work hard, and your business grows.. well, who knows how far you can take it?

    Some may only earn a trickle, others have the potential to earn you lots. Some may suit you, some may not.

    They may not all be day job quitters, but with a little application each of these could pay some of the monthly bills. And they are all the sort of thing you can do in the evening.

    And if you earn extra money regularly with one, why not try another as well?

    1) Earn Extra Money Blogging About Your Hobby

      Think about a hobby or interest and blog about it.  You can then monetize your blog in all sorts of ways, or you could guest blog for others or even become a professional blogger.

    2) Freelance as an Article Writer

      Write articles for a living.  You could either write articles (on almost every subject imaginable) for others on commission, or sell article packs to webmasters.  There are also sites which will pay you for your articles

    3) Affiliate Marketing

      Affiliate marketing is where a lot of people start out making money online. This is basically where you sell somebody else’s ebook, software or physical product and receive a commission.  You could use your blog to do this!

    4) Create a Membership Site

      Membership sites are a great way of earning recurring income because you can charge monthly or annually for membership.  If you drip feed your content you don’t need to create it all at once.  Membership sites are surprisingly easy to set up.

    5) Make Extra Money From Your Digital Camera

      There are tons of ways you can make money from your digital camera. You could sell photographs to webmasters, or more specifically stock photography sites who provide images to webmasters. Or you could sell your images directly to webmasters, or set yourself up as a wedding photographer, or…… (article coming soon)

    6) Make Extra Money from Fiverr

      Fiverr is a site where people offer services for $5.  You can earn extra money on Fiverr by offering a service which can be executed quickly and efficiently such as submitting websites to search engines

    7) Freelance as Website Designer

      If you have a design bent consider website design. You could offer a service building  custom websites or use standard templates, or create and sell niches blogs (article coming soon). ..

    8  Write an EBook and Sell It

      (an electronic book) on any subject and sell it directly online.  The beauty of this is that there are no publishers involved and you can sell direct from your websites (oh, and include affiliate links to products in your ebook!)

    9) Start an Online Virtual Store

      The best and most popular way of doing this is as an Amazon affiliate but you can just as easily do it using your own products.

    10) Start a Translation Service

      If you have linguistic  talent this could be ideal for you.  Documents audio,video, even conferences and conference calls are good for  translating.

    11) Start an Editing and Proofreading Service

      For others – checking books, online documents, plans, websites etc for spelling, grammar, and just making sure they make sense.

    12) Custom Create Photoshop Products Such as Logos

      Not everybody knows how to use photoshop. If you do you can create banners, headers, logos for webmasters or anybody that wants them

    13) Buy and Sell Expired Domain Names.

      Domains regularly expire as webmasters fail to renew them. The key is to spot them when they expire, buy the domain at the regular price, and sell on for a premium

      Did you know that owners of forums will pay people to post on their forums as a  way of “warming the forum up”…. …?.  you can make some nice money doing this

      There is a big (and growing) demand for audios to be transcribed for documentation and publication purposes. Often you will get paid to transcribe so many hours of audio into a document. This audio may be from seminars, interviews.

      Although being a bookkeeper does require some specific training, it is the sort of thing that can be done at nightclass. If you are good with numbers, keeping the books of small local businesses, or online businesses, may be just right for you

      More and more people around the world are looking for work, and as the job market becomes more competitive they need something to set them apart. You could offer a custom resume writing service which you operate online

      There are sites all over the internet which pay you to view websites, click on links, read emails etc. You won’t make much money but you likely make some extra dollars

      Adsense are adverts provided by google which you can display on webspace you own and earn money whenever somebody clicks on the advert

    20) Build a List of Subscribers and Run a Newslettter

      There are tools available which will allow you to capture email addresses and run a newsletter on your favourite subject
