Hobbies that make money

What hobbies do you have? Do you enjoy cooking, watching movies, rock climbing, soccer, collecting stamps, making cards, scrapbooking?

There are many people all over the world who guaranteed will share the same hobbies and interests as you. Have you ever thought that these could be hobbies that make extra money for you? What about turning your hobby or interest into a source of extra income?

There are a number of ways you can do this. Exactly how you make extra money will also depend on the hobby itself, but in a nutshell you could sell your output or sell your knowledge.

Selling your output will largely depend on whether there is any output to sell(!), but if you enjoy crafts such as cardmaking you could sell your products on eBay or even through your own website. If you took this one step further you could make money from your website through advertising or as an affiliate (selling other people’s products for commision).

Selling your knowledge is slightly different. For instance if you are really into gardening how many tips and hints could you put together? And with a little research (which would be interesting anyway), could you put a 10 page eBook which you could publish and sell for a few dollars?

Alternatively you could setup a content website and monetize it or a newsletter and recommend products from your hobby… the sky really is the limit and today more than at any time you have the capability to identify the hobbies that make extra money and do just that from them! Or what about blogging about your hobby? Or setting up a forum and monetizing it with either your own or affiliate products. The sky really is the limit….

OK confession time. I haven’t bought this product but I have thought about it many times. But it is just too darned expensive for me. However, if you are just starting out then because it appears to be so comprehensive, it might save you money on other products which you don’t need to buy (if that makes sense!)
